Re-Run

Below is a re-run of a blog I wrote a couple of months ago. Due to some unforseen circumstances the delivery of the new CD was delayed. But it has now arrived. If you have pre-ordered this recording look for it arriving in your mailbox within the next day or two. If you would like to order now, you can CLICK HERE and follow instructions and it will be on the way to you.

I stopped by Senate Records this afternoon to pick up a few copies. Joey Stuckey has some interesting plans to promote this CD. So be on the lookout.

It was fun recording it and I think you will find it fun listening to it.

So here is the article I wrote about it a few months ago.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Several months ago I signed a contract with Joey Stuckey and Senate Records to produce a new CD. It was recorded before a live audience.

The CD, entitled Bruce Goddard Live and Kickin’, will be released within the next two weeks. You can hear a couple of excerpts or you can pre-order it or you can download the MP3 Digital file now for your IPOD by going to www.3daudioscapes.com

The recording is about 70 minutes long and I pretty much never come up for air for the entire presentation. There was very little editing done of my stories so you get it just as I delivered it.

Off the cuff and from my heart.

I threw away my notes many years ago.

The thing is I speak in front of groups all the time. But the challenge is I only have a certain amount of time so I can say only a portion of what I want to say. And it’s hard to keep the attention of any audience when you talk longer than 30 minutes. That is unless your voice is recorded.

In that case, the audience can turn me off whenever they get ready and pick right back up where they left off at a later time or later date. With that knowledge, I kinda told it all when we recorded this. Really didn’t leave much out.

But there is a message interwoven in this presentation that we all need to hear. The message is about life and laughter and trouble and priorities.

This recording is guaranteed to make you laugh. I know that because I’ve watched people laugh at these stories time and time again all over this country. I love to watch people laugh almost as much as I love to laugh. I strongly believe we don’t do enough laughing.

I also believe this recording will make you think.

And we really don’t do enough of that either.

So here’s to laughing and thinking… and chachinking.

The chachinking is the sound of the money dropping in Senate Records’ coffers as they take the View from a Hearse experience to the next level.

I hope this is Senate Records most lucrative deal yet. If it is, that means a lot of you laughed and heard my message.

Joey Stuckey and Senate Records are betting you will.

As for me, I’ll just keep showing up and telling my story and writing my blog.
