I Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Tonight

(Meridian, MS) I will wake up much smarter in the morning because I’m staying at a Holiday Inn Express tonight.

I’m smarter because I met two of the cutest 19 year old girls you could ever meet in your life tonight working at the front desk. Both have more personality than you can shake a stick at. And both are cute as a button.

Ashley (pictured on your right) moved to Meridian from Jackson about 14 years ago. She is currently attending Meridian Community College to get an Associate Degree in Nursing. For you guys out there you better hurry because she is almost taken and is expecting to get married to her boyfriend Ben in the not too distant future. Ben is in the Army and just returned from a tour in Iraq.

In August of 2006 Ashley traveled to Birmingham to try out for American Idol. She has been singing since she was knee high to a grasshopper she said. I also learned that you have to get by three rounds before you can get in front of Simon, Randy and Paula and she said it is nothing like you see on TV.

Leci, on the other hand, was born in Meridian but lived in Mobile most of her life, then moved back here 5 years ago. She is pretty much available because she just got out of a 4 year relationship with some knuckleheaded boy. She was madly in love so she is definitely on the rebound. I found out that Leci also attends Meridian Community College and is on a soccer scholarship. I also learned that Leci can squat 200 lbs.

Leci is pursuing a degree in Agricultural Science and Education and wants to be a farmer. She was on the Livestock Judging Team in High School.

Ashley and Leci attended different high schools and didn’t know each other before they started working at the Holiday Inn Express.

Now they work together most every night. And now they will be forever linked on this blog.

Just because I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express tonight.
