Breaking News
In a startling development today in Atlanta, Martin Irungu of Kenya held off Rudy Underwood of Marietta to win the 2007 Peachtree Road Race.
Rudy is shown here with his two girls, Claire and Courtney, who also competed in the famous 10K annual run.
Rudy stated that the race was nip and tuck at the start line but Irungu exploded those last 9.999 K's and finished about an hour ahead of him.
Although Underwood, age 49, did not finish first, he did finish. And he got the tee shirt to prove it.
And that is a lot more that could be said for most of us.

Bruce I was hoping you would run the event.
Thnx Irungu. You're too fast for me. Maybe next year. BG
The running might play havoc with your IBS, better stick to watching.
I am so proud of Rudy. Maybe next year we can make it a family event, including you, Bruce. LUW
