Hope You Feel My Love

I have been taught all my life to try to comprehend the love that a heavenly Father has for his children. I certainly experienced the love a mom and dad had for this son. And I have been fortunate enough to know the love a man has for a woman. And I am very familiar with the love a man has for his sons and his daughters in law.

Pretty overwhelming stuff.

But when Taylor Reese was born exactly one year ago today, I got a new definition of love. I began to understand the love a Papa has for a little grandbaby girl. And it is enough to take my breath away.

All you grandparents out there know exactly what I am talking about. This, my friends, is one very special club.

I am reminded of that old song:

If this isn’t love, then the ocean is dry. There’s no stars in the sky and the little sparrow can’t fly. If this isn’t love, then heaven’s a myth. There’s no feeling like this -if this isn’t love.

This little video I put together is dedicated to all the grandparents out there. And it is from one thankful Papa.

Hope you feel my love.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TAYLOR".
There is nothing in the world like grandchildren. We now have 5 and I'm loving it. Our only grandson will be a year old March 2. I know that Taylor will have a happy birthday and I'm sure that "Papa" will have a good day too.

I have used a box of kleenex watching and hearing that song. I go to bed at night thanking God for my Madelyne and wake up in the morning doing the same. This "grandparent love" in our hearts is a love I hope everyone gets to experience.
