Super Sunday
My Super Sunday has not been all that super. I made it to church but have not made it off the sofa since I got home. After a week on the road in Oklahoma fighting a cold and downing cups of Niquil at night to sleep, I finally gave in today. My wife went on to the Super Bowl party as planned. I stayed home and I will party alone.
I’ve watched Andy Griffin re-runs off and on today– but mostly slept. Hopefully the football game will keep me awake. Andy and Barney surely couldn’t do it.
As far as the game goes, Eli has got himself a great opportunity to get on equal footing with his big brother Payton. I would not mind seeing him and his Giant team pull off the big upset. Tom Brady has an opportunity to make football history by winning 19 games in a season.
I’ve never been one to make football predictions but I will give this one a shot. I predict the Giants will upset the Patriots and Eli Manning will be the hero in the last moments of the game.
Giants by 3.
Tom Brady will need some Niquil to sleep tonight.
And I will be much better in the morning and will head out to Mississippi
And life will go on.

Hope you are feeling better today.
Wow! The next time I place a bet on a football game I'm calling you for advice.
Can I start calling you before I place my bets? Hope you are feeling like Eli today.
