Shalom
(Houston,TX) I did something different tonight and started my vacation early. Instead of going out to eat with my co-workers tonight after a 11 hour business meeting, I decided to walk across the street from my hotel and catch the Astro – Ranger game. To be honest I’ve been to quite a few major league baseball games in my life but this was the first time I went to a game alone. I didn’t take my camera with me but I did take a couple of pics with my cell phone to capture the moment.
I bought a ticket as I was walking across the street to the game from a scalper. Since the game was already in the third inning when I got there, I got a discounted bargained down ticket… in the club level no less.
And since I was by myself I even improved on that seat about two innings later. I kind of walked down to a front row seat and sat down. I did get a few looks from the stadium workers but nobody bothered me. I supposed my business attire made them think I was supposed to be there.
My meeting ends here about noon tomorrow and I’m headed home. On Saturday we are headed to the beach and will be joined by my kids and wives etc.
So if you don’t hear from me for a while it’s because I’m taking a break. I may post a few blogs during the vacation but if I don’t, I will be back soon. And there is plenty to read here in the archives if you get the urge.
I sincerely thank all of you who have subscribed to this blog and read it regularly. And for keeping up with my crazy life and travels. I love you all.
In fact I love everybody.
Shalom.
