Utopia

My blog yesterday about IBS got some attention in case you haven’t read the comments. I got an email from Laurie who represents a marketing agency for Proctor and Gamble. They have a new supplement called Align that they believe will do wonders for IBS sufferers. Laurie is sending me a two month free sample to try out. She said I should get the samples at the beginning of July. The only requirement is that at the end of the test period that I write an honest assessment of the product on this blog. I can certainly do that.

Who knows? I may get my picture on the Align box and become the poster child for IBS. That could be a dangerous thing though. I’m afraid some folks might recognize me and sue me for damages. I have damaged a few restrooms in my life. And a few rooms before you get to the restroom. I’ll keep you posted. From the comments and the emails I received, I think there are a lot of folks out there who could use a little Align. If I could eat and not have to worry about those sudden attacks I would be in Utopia.

Speaking of Utopia, I visited there this afternoon after work. This Utopia is the perfect place to get your hair did. I can tell you it is a long way from the Sanitary Barber Shop where I used to go in Reynolds when I was a kid. At the Sanitary Barber shop, Mr. Jim would finish one haircut, yell NEXT, and it would be my turn to jump in the chair. If I was lucky there would be some old timers sitting around telling a few stories.

At this Barber Shop I get personal attention. My very own Kristy is my personal hair dresser. I have written about her before so you can check that out if you wish. She really didn’t want me to take this picture of her today because she said she was not made up for the occasion. I’ll let you form your own opinion about how she looks. On a 1 to 10 scale, I give her at least a 20 even without her makeup.

And I got an extra bonus today. The gorgeous Hannah, who happens to be Kristy’s daughter, happened to be in the shop helping her mom out. Hannah just finished her first year at Georgia Tech. Her 3.4 GPA for her first year at that school is not too shabby. In addition to being a student, Hannah is a model and you can find pictures of her in many magazines. She just returned from a modeling trip to L.A. and is considering going to Japan this summer for more modeling. Like her mom, Hannah wasn’t too excited about me taking her picture today either. She said she wasn’t wearing make-up. I'll let you form your own opinion about her looks. Just like her mom, even without make-up, I give her at least a 20 as well.

I don’t know where you go to get your haircut.

Me? I go to Utopia.
