In Many Ways We Are All the Same

In many ways, Luiciano Pavorotti and Barry White could not be more different. Pavarotti was born in north central Italy the son of a baker. White was born in southern Texas and was a member of a gang by age 10. Barry White was known as the man with the velvet voice. Pavarotti was known as the tenor with the “high C.” One was a soul man. The other was from the opera. About as different as different can be.

But in one way they were very much the same.

My goodness they could both sing and their voices had the power to cause a man to want to put his arm around the woman he loves. Together they were more than incredible and performances such as theirs could cause babies to be born.

Again there is a life lesson here for all of us who cannot sing but live and work with people who come from different backgrounds.

We are all different but in many ways we are all the same. Together we can be more than incredible.

Watch this and be inspired. Make sure your volume is on.
