Think of Me

Dear Taylor Swift,

My name is Abbi and I am one of your biggest fans. Although you have only been a country star but a couple of years I have loved you and your music all my life. My mom and I love to sing and dance to your music. The fact that you write all your songs and they are about real boys you have known will mean a lot to me when I get older.

I am glad to know that you are giving back to society. Your campaign to protect children like me from online predators by distributing information and materials to parents and students is a great thing.

But please don’t ever forget that I am watching you and I will continue to watch as I grow older. And so will a lot of other girls like me. As I grow older I will read everything I can get my hands on about you. Because every move you make will be documented for the world to see, you have a huge responsibility to little girls like me. That is the price of being a star.

You are very wholesome and “grown up” for your age and you are very different from most of the other stars. You have an opportunity to be a positive influence on a whole lot of young folks as your star continues to grow and get brighter. You don’t have to be perfect but you don’t have to be foolish either.

Your song says, "when you think Tim McGraw - think of me."

I'm asking you when you think about doing something stupid – think of me.

Love, Abbi

PS In case you haven’t figured it out, I didn’t write this letter. My uncle B (who is not really my uncle) wrote it for me. Don’t get mad. He’s just looking out for me.

PPS Could you please send me an autographed picture??
